Multi-talented OWEN MORSE does more than just juggle. He's been pushing the out and return limits at the Andy Jackson Airpark recently. He's got a deep route east wired and provides excellent guided tours of the range. :)

Gorgonio sits at 11.5k... get there and you've got a 30 mile glide back to Crestline. The out and return is nearly 80 miles. Here are a couple a couple of google earth images with his track log.

There's a hot local group of pilots going long distances out into the desert along with Owen. Owen backed up his out and return with a 118mile XC flex wing site record the following week. His "rigid" compadres' went nearly 200miles the same day.

In addition to pushing limits, Owen's a solid contributor to the local flying community. I've been the beneficiary of his generosity and sincerely appreciate it.

Re: ThrOWEN down...

He makes it look easy. I hope to get the guided tour to Keller Peak this season... Hint.......

Bring your tree resuce kit, hiking boots and snake chaps

I posted a 200-image photo log of the so-called "Keller milk run" linked above. It's not a trip for the faint of heart because the lift can either shut off (as it did to Owen, stranding him) or you can get flushed in the middle of nowhere (as happened to me) unless you can reach the bailout beside the 330. Then there was Scotty the PG who crashed in a canyon along this route (which required 2-meter search and rescue by me on Marhsall and Jerome, a PG in the air). As long as you have the derring-do to do the trip, I recommend it highly. It's a spectacular flight but you must fly over no-man's land to make the trip.

Re: ThrOWEN down...

eww... sounds harrowing. Do you find it hard to run off launch in your skirt Jonathan?

Re: ThrOWEN down...

I think we should call this "The Big O Out and Back" as Owen pretty much owns it.

JonnyD, let your thoughts not dwell on landing in tiger country, but of finding lift and
enjoying the awesome vistas given you on the KP O-n-B.

One Sunday womens timberland boots morning, I was told that someone was waiting for me in timberland 6 boots office. The young person who answered the rectory timberland boots door said that it was "the woman who said she left all the notes." When I saw her mens timberland boots I was shocked, since I immediately recognized her from church but had no timberland boots outlet idea that it was she who wrote the notes. She was sitting in a chair in timberland roll top boots office with her hands folded in her lap. Her head was bowed and when she raised white timberland boots it to look at me, she could barely smile without pain. Her face was disfigured, and timberland classic boat skin so tight from surgical procedures that smiling or laughing was very difficult for her timberland kids waterproof boots . She had suffered terribly from treatment to remove the growths timberland shoes that had so marred her face. We chatted for a while that Sunday morning and agreed to meet for timberland womens premium boots lunch later that week. As it turned out we went to lunch several timberland boots women times, and she always wore a hat during the meal. I think that treatments of some timberland shoe company sort had caused a lot of her hair to fall out. We shared things about our lives. I told her about my women timberland shoes schooling and growing up. She told me that she had worked for timberland 6 inch years for an insurance company. She never mentioned family, and I did not ask. I have thought about her timberland mens custom often over the years and how she struggled in a society that places an incredible premium on looks, class, wealth and all the other fineries of life. She suffered from a disfigurement that cannot be made to look attractive. I know that her condition black timberland boots hurt her deeply. http://www.timberland6inch.com/
