The first is a replaceable shield and shroud assembly for the Maxair 700 PAPR system. It is a common issue on these units to have the shield become damaged due to repeated flexion in use. Wills Wing offers a replacement shield and shroud assembly that can be mounted to the plastic dome portion of the unit – the PAPR System Filter Cover PN 01031148. The original shields are riveted to the cover and not designed to be replaceable, but we offer a conversion process that replaces the rivets with a reusable screw and nut assembly. We can perform the conversion here on covers sent to us, or alternately provide instructions on how the conversion can be done by the customer. Once the dome is converted, the shield / shroud assembly is a user replaceable item. The items involved are:
